THE HOBBIT: The Desolation of Smaug...Deserves a Slow Clap! One of the Best Films Created this Year

Honestly, I might be missing half of my life but I haven't seen any Lord of the Rings movie, If I did during my childhood, I really couldn't recall the story and all...

Good thing, I started The Hobbit last year, the prequel of Lord of The Rings Trilogy, and I was totally blown away of the first installment.I waited ages to catch The Desolation of Smaug and the excitement grew bigger when the trailer was launch this year. But I must say... the wait was all worth it.



Huge improvement from the first movie.
No dull moments so I had no time for restroom breaks. The fight scenes are superb and well executed. This time the story went smooth and can be easily understood by those who didn't read the book and for those who are not an avid fan.

There where breath taking moments and moments where I was on the edge of my seat.
It was well made to offer visual cinematic feast.
The director, the cast and all the people who are part of this masterpiece deserves a slow clap.



It was indeed one of the best films I watch this year.
And I cant wait for the 3rd installment. I find it sadistic to make us wait that long. Dec. 2014 please come sooner...

ENDER'S GAME and a SOLAR EVENT - surprisingly good

This sci-fi movie was based on the novel of the same name by Orson Scott Card. Directed and written by Gavin Hood. Top-billed by Asa Butterfield and Harisson Ford.

Not going into details about the story. NO TO SPOILER:) but the movie was awesome, from the script, graphics, effects and actors especially the story it was made to entertain, touch our hearts and provide us a lesson that in life...
It isnt about winning but it's about how we won!



Funny lines, hilarious moments and great story!

This was movie was shown Oct and November this year in USA and Europe although there was a little delay in the Philippines. This is a must watch!

I enjoyed it last night.Thank You Solar Entertainment Channel and My Movie Channel for giving the best Advance Screening Experience. Free dinner, raffle draws, freebies and a lot more! It was indeed a fun night:)

Thor: The Dark World... Fun and Good.. a short review

The Hiddleton and Hemsworth tandem and charisma were the highlight of the film. The brother/enemy issue of Thor and Loki was presented with humor and heart...



It was made not just to showcase the battle between good and evil but for viewers to realize importance of trust, loyalty and family. The film was successful in connecting fantasy to reality through the power of science. Even if the film was taken in London the film maker was also successful in connecting the whole film to it's title The Dark World, not too much color and loudness with the setting.







The feast of humor and funny lines covered the lack of gigantic visual effects but that doesn't mean that action scenes are few. It was action packed! Natalie Portman was no doubt brilliant and beautiful all throughout the film. Kat Dennings the 2BrokeGirls star added extra spice and fun by bringing her show in the film.



Overall, the film was fun and good movie to watch. Another Marvel Studio Movie that we all need to look forward and as usual there was a teaser after the end of the movie credits and it looks like there are a lot of avenger stories bound to be filmed.

MR.GO... An epic story of a gorilla superstar

Just want to share that the Movie Mr.Go is also a film showcasing monkey/ape/gorilla story but this film should be classified not as violent as the mentioned movies, not as big as the productions of the three but can be as epic as any other popular gorilla story.

The movie is an adventure of a gorilla and a witty little girl who started as a Circus duo and tried their luck in Korea for a baseball adventure!



The film was about caring and valueing friendship on the most difficult games of life... Something about standing for what is good and taking full responsibilty of our own actions.

Will open in the Philippines on Oct 16, 2013 exclusively in SM Cinemas. You have to witness how Ling-Ling the gorilla made it big in Korea's baseball history and disover that a gorilla story can teach us life's lessons.

The movie was scary but it shown the value of family

The online hype matched it's thrilling content...
I described it as a horror movie with a heart..
It would make you scream the loudest but it would touch your heart towards the end...
I gave my mother a hug after watching it twice in the bigscreen:)

The movie solved the mystery and what is hanging on it's first chapter.
This time it turned out to be thrilling more than scary and made me eager to solve all my questions in mind...
It has a lot of twists and breathtaking moments...

Thats the audience Cinema Experience!
And the movie still showing on it's second week!



Horrow Films were actually made to make us realize that sometimes we are just too afraid of doing things and the after of math of taking risk.
The 3 films are actually stating that it isn't bad to get scared but we must learn to conquer those fears especially if it involves our family!

Our families are worth dying for!
That is the James Wan's magic formula in making these movies... to scare us but at the same time touch our heart...



That is why I am looking forward for his next horror movie...
I smell Insidious 3 or The Conjuring 2....

The Wolverine in 3D...a short review not a spoiler

This one is just short.
After the Advance Screening last Night in SM Megamall Cinema 2.. we went out to unwind...
Well..this means im still sleepy and tired but I have to start a short review about the film before going back to bed...
And thankful as well that Finally, SM Megamall noticed that I promote their cinema through my twitter (https://twitter.com/juiceph_fruit) and facebook account (http://www.facebook.com/joseph.henrie.5). They send me free invites for the Advance Screening of Wolverine in 3D...

The Wolverine Movie went out from the conventional action packed superhero movie to a story of doing heroic act without so much explosions and power.The fight scenes are close to reality, not too much stunts and not to much guns or superpower... which is actually a good thing.

Japan is the main setting and where the plot revolved. Ninjas and japanese villians made the story more thrilling. I Know that much of the movie goers are so over the Manhattan or the Business District, skycrapers fight scenes, this one is totally different from the recent and last year super hero films.

Hugh Jackman portrayed it welll, his charisma and acting only shows that he isnt growing old. He made the stunts so real and made moments that are just so breathtaking. The bullet train scene and the manual heart operation. Oh well. That was spoiling less..

Overall, the movie was awesome, it was a breath of fresh air, the scenes, the story and the setting. Better catch the opening on July 25, 2013 or on weekends.

SM AURA.. Global City's Newest. a high end mall on the rise for luxury, shopping and fun

     Back in 2011, I was browsing the internet for some upcoming establishment/buildings in Manila,Philippines. 

The word AURA caught my attention.. It sounded classy and unique and to my surprise it was one of the projects of SM Corporation, one of the most successful developer and owner of a lot of malls around the country. The excitement grew deeper when I found out that it will be built near my place. Additional color to the uprising Global City. I went to the location the following day and it was just a plain vacant lot.

but... After two years. It is on the rise now :) and almost done

As far as I remember it will be called SM Aura.. a high end mall that will cater for the people in Global City and Makati City. It is located near C5 road. In front of Ayala's Market Market which I think will be a strong competitor in the near future.

        I have found some pictures via flicker anf wikipedia sites. And I want to share the proposed view and structure of the posh mall soon to be open in Global City. I cant help but to get more excited about the peoject. This is something new again. New place to hang out and a newer scenery in my location.

      The excitement grew bigger when I found out that the project will have a convention center and an IMAX theater as well. Another first in global city and I am really looking forward for the features and stores of the upcoming posh mall.

      Im looking forward for the restaurants and clothing lines that will be opened here. This is just a simple excitement that I am really looking forward to have and feel. The structure, the look and everything on it gives me a positive aura. I guess that is why it will be name that way...

Because This is all about LUXURY,SHOPPING AND FUN created and molded as SM AuRA. Global City's finest.. they got it all for you soon :)

Life is an Untold Destiny

The ambitions and dreams when we were kids were totally different of what we became today...at least most of us..

But no matter what your life is and who you are today remember that CONTENTMENT is undeniably priceless :)

A Moment in our life when you are perfectly happy even if we did NOT make the right decision in life.
Followed what our parents want.
We did not choose a good career
We let go and lost the person we trully love and we are not the person we had dream of becoming today...

So Never ever regret your unique story. Life is actually a story of a written destiny untold.Even if you have all the choices and the freedom in the world.. Remember this

Just Quit Once... Smoking is a not so Perfect Pleasure

As they say, The safer cigarette is your last one.

This shot goes out to all the smokers out there. I know that to CEASE smoking is not the easiest thing to do, people tried it a hundred times and they always go back to the basic step. SMOKING:)

I have nothing against the perfect pleasure of smoking. I have tons of friends who do it and i respect them all.

Smoking is not a human culture it is a pleasurable habit.

Im sorry for doing a nonsense post about smoking. Smokers may laugh at this but for people who care, I guess there have been a million attempts to stop the people that we know. I dont have the power to stop you all from smoking but I hope this will somehow move you today. Please lessen your sticks today.

Dont loose weight by smoking, get rid off the fats, keep your lungs intact.

Dont be one of the late quitters. They die and did not have the chance and choice to quit

Look for a better alternative. Cocaine and tobacco are not included.

And never ever say that you cant live without the smokes. Just think about your loved ones...
