Mr. Peabody and Sherman (Movie Review) Surprisingly Geeky and Engagingly Witty

Present day animated films created in 3D format are more focus on visual entertainment. We cannot hide the fact, that vibrant colorful festive images are more amusing to the kids resulting to few cartoon films nowadays, focusing on the content to give out delightful experience to the audience of all ages.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman was actually a proof that not all animations are just for visual feast. The movie is about a hyper-intelligent dog, Mr Peabody, and the young boy, Sherman, he adopts. The movie was surprisingly geeky, it was informative without being boring. The plot involves large amounts of time traveling in which Sherman learns about everything from the French Revolution to the fall of Troy, Egyptian marital rites to Leonardo da Vinci's painting technique and the Greek warriors.

It was an engaging witty story that kids and kids at heart would trully enjoy. A delightful experience and at the same time an entertaining snitcher of our affluent history. Fun and fast paced film but creator did not forget affixing a heart on it.
